Self-Awareness & Profiling

Do you want to know who you are?

Fantastic, go you. I love this work! I love partnering with clients who want to understand themselves more deeply: their strengths, drivers, and even the unconscious blind spots that quietly shape their lives. You are in the right place, and I celebrate you for having that interest. These assessments often provide a powerful shortcut to self-awareness, insight, and growth.

Profiling tools support career development, transitions, and leadership growth.

Noting too, genuine self-discovery may beneifit from a trauma-informed approach. If you feel like you are 'missing something', like a missing tree ring, or have some kind of gap, missing files, or similar, this could very well be something worth exploring together.

Some of my favourite tools, models, and maps include:

The Enneagram

I’m a Certified Narrative Enneagram Coach, trained with the gold-standard school in this field (worth noting, since there are plenty of questionable “experts” out there). If you’re curious to learn a little more about the Enneagram and why I love it, I’ve popped some more information here for you to read about the enneagram if you are curious… I hope you are - or if you’re curious about your type, but it’s really hard to know, I think you might aprpeciate this recent blog I wrote bringing a trauma lens as well.

StandOut Strengths, by Marcus Buckingham

This resource is brilliant for both individuals and teams. I’m also a Love + Work Certified Coach, which means we can tap into a wealth of resources Marcus has developed. One client favourite: “a career is a scavenger hunt for love.” Yes! I often support clients in discovering their unique strengths: the things that strengthen them, not just the things they’re good at.

Gallup Strengths

The reports are incredibly rich, and many of my clients have found them to be genuine game-changers. I personally, often refer back to my own Gallup report too.

Mindset & WorldView Profiling

I’m certified with the Global Leadership Profile, My WorldView, and Adeption’s Leadership Mindset Indicator, and have completed extensive additional training. These tools help expand worldview and capacity to navigate complex, unpredictable situations. Another game changer. This is a relatively new area for developmental psychology and you can find more information here.

MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator)

Yes, it gets a lot of flack. But in my view, that’s mostly misunderstanding. MBTI remains a wonderful foundational tool and one I still find helpful for myself.

Values Clarification

This is the cornerstone of life. What really matters to you? It’s such a simple question, yet often a challenging one, especially when values collide or evolve as we grow.
